 DBV Winterthur sent Koebcke 100,000 insurance file records every week. Koebcke then sorted these by date and ascending insurance number, and transferred them on to 16 mm roll film with a silver film duplicate. The films were then checked to ensure that all records were legible and complete, before being formatted for the customer's microfilm archive.
