The manufacture of the batch 1.4 structure (shell) is the underlying stage in the construction of Berlin's Lehrter Bahnhof station, which is currently being completed: this station will be the largest in Europe, and should be ready in time for the 2006 football World Cup.

As part of the implementation of batch 1.4, one part of the general project titled "Germany Unity - Reconstruction of the Capital Berlin", Koebcke helped see that the project ran smoothly with its seamless integration of its data management and digital printing business areas.

Our EDMSŪ solution was used to supply all parties involved in the project with all neccesary infomation. All data was printed directly on-site and immediately passed on to the consortium members - 11 consortium members and more than 150 subcontractors on the construction site were simulateously supplied with information in record times.

"Costs were reduced thanks to a supply of information that was comprehensive, up-tp-the-minute adn constantly accessible, and this also meant that each phase of construction could be controlled more effectively - all thanks to Koebcke!" Dipl.-Ing. Gerhard Job, chief construction supervisor on the Lehrter Bahnhof, WALTER BAU AG
