December 2001 - June 2005 The remodeling work on the ICE route from Frankfurt am Main to Cologne and the extension of the track to the Cologne-Bonn airport is completed. The construction work for Deutsche Bahn AG was divided up into project units, with Koebcke taking charge of archiving construction files from the A, C and North units. In total, Koebcke processed more than 13,300 files, whose content of more than 5 million records and about 200,000 documents were captured and digitally archived on CD-ROM as well as on microfilm, microfiche or aperture. Alongside data processing according to the file plan, Koebcke's work later also included full-text readout of all documents. On completion of the project, the digital data was handed over together with Koebcke Exploro, an archiving software that provides the customer with fast and accurate online search and display of documents. The digitalised stock of blueprints were made ready for Deutsche Bahn AG's in-house "IZ-Plan" system and likewise handed over. DB Projektbau Köln also received from Koebcke a data server which they can use to conveniently research and manage project data classified according to the various project units.
