30.08.2010 Koebcke has won the Europe-wide bid to provide Esslingen University's printing and copying services, and to operate all three in-house printshops. Koebcke's offer was superior in quality, price and concept, and proved to be the best overall value. Following a successful test, Koebcke was awarded the contract on 12 July 2010. Starting 1 September 2010 the company will operate Esslingen University's three in-house printshops, which are respectively located in Stadtmitte, on Flandernstraße and in Göppingen. Koebcke will also install 44 decentralised printing systems in university buildings and integrate them into the smart card billing system currently in use at Esslingen University. Koebcke uses powerful monitoring software to ensure that the printing systems are in service and have adequate paper and toner, thus providing continuous functionality. Among the services that Koebcke will provide to Esslingen University's in-house printshops are the following: - Printing and copying services in A4 and A3 formats (colour and black & white) in accordance with deadlines - Final processing services including lamination, booklet making and binding - Creation of business cards and similar products Koebcke considers its services and product quality to be extremely important and a vital part of its customer service solutions. Esslingen University has been in existence in its present form since Oct0ber 2006. It was formed when the FHTE (University of Technology) and the HfS (University of Social Sciences) merged to form a single university. The university's principle subject areas are engineering, business studies, social sciences and healthcare sciences. The university offers 23 Bachelor courses and 12 Masters programmes and has around 5,500 registered students across 11 faculties. These students study in three modern, well equipped locations in Esslingen city centre, on Flandernstrasse and in Göppingen. The excellence of Esslingen University's teaching and practice-oriented courses are reflected by its ranking in numerous business magazines and the ZEIT student guide, where it is recognised time and again as one of Germany's best Universities of Applied Sciences.
